Welcome to Walton Green Teen's Blog
This is the official blog/website of Walton High School's Green Teen. The Green Teen is one of the most popular programs at Walton High School, with a waiting list of more than 40 kids. In 2005 Green Teen students grew more than 1,500 pounds of vegetables from seeds, to donate to the homeless in the Bronx.

Hey all.
Just wanted to update you guys and congratulate you for what seems to be a highly successful 2nd year of the Green Teens. I miss all of you.
I am now teaching Special Ed at Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. It is about 5 miles from my house. The students at the school are very wealthy as the district that the school serves is one of the richest in Bergen County. There isn’t any of the Bronx “flava” here in the school and I miss that and all of your personalities. Can’t say that I miss the Reggaeton though. I do think of you all very often and wonder what you are up to. Most kids are wearing Abercrombie and Fitch and are driving expensive cars. That being said, they all have the same issues facing you, girlfriend/boyfriend issues, avoiding trouble and wondering what to do with their lives.
I enjoyed not having the 1.5 hour commute to the Bronx and the craziness that the NYC Department of Ed. brought with it, but miss the outings and special events that we shared. I wish that I could have brought all of you with me. I have been teaching Algebra and Geometry and miss teaching biology and the horticulture class. The school has a horticulture class as well. The school has their own green house. As I said, it is very wealthy.
I was able to be an assistant coach on the Varsity Hockey team which won the league championship and had the best season in the school history. Unfortunately, we lost in our first game in the state playoffs.
My wife and I are expecting our first child at the end of September. We think that it may be a girl. My wife and I are still hoping for a boy, but either way we will be extremely happy when the baby is born. We have names picked out. Aidan if it is a boy and Rowan if it is a girl. We decided to stay with the Celtic/Irish names.
When do you guys finish up school? I would like to visit, but would have to wait until commitments are finished here. I will definitely have to visit at the beginning of next year after the baby is born. Are you going to be working at Bissell gardens this summer? What’s the plan?
I feel very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to have met you all and the opportunity to work with you and see your hard work pay off in the success that you have created for yourself.
Feel free to send me an email: TMandZ@aol.com or Mconley@rih.org
Best regards,
Mr. Conley
its great to hear from you mr conley you should come by someday and see whats are next project and hang out like old times.
